What this check looks at, and why these things

A website can be well designed and still lose visitors every day for reasons you cannot see by looking at it on a desktop. This check tests the most common causes — all measurable from outside, all with a known fix.

It is not an overall score like "your site is a 62 out of 100". Those numbers help nobody decide anything. What you get is a list of specific things, each with an explanation of what it costs you in customers, not in jargon.

What it checks

  • Mobile adaptation. More than half of all visits arrive from a phone. If people have to zoom to read, most leave.
  • Speed and weight. How long the server takes to answer, and how much the page weighs with its images.
  • How the link looks when shared. With no share image, WhatsApp shows a grey rectangle.
  • The phone number. Written but not tappable on mobile means lost calls.
  • Business details for Google. If Google cannot read your address and hours, it struggles to show you in local searches.
  • Contact routes. How many different ways there are to reach you, because everyone prefers a different one.
  • Security certificate, languages, headings and description.

What this check cannot tell you

It measures what is observable from outside, without access to your site. It does not know whether your copy persuades, whether your prices are right, or whether your photos sell. Those matter more than everything above, and no automated tool measures them — a person has to look.

Common questions

Do you store the address I check?

No. There is no database: the page is fetched, analysed in memory and the result returned. No record is kept of what you looked up, and we do not ask for your email to show it.

Why does it sometimes say the site does not respond when I can see it fine?

Usually because the server blocks automated requests, or the address redirects elsewhere. Try with and without "www", and with the full address starting https://.

Does it work on any website?

Any public website, whether built on WordPress, Wix, Shopify, PrestaShop or custom. It cannot analyse private pages or anything behind a login.

How many checks can I run?

Twelve per hour. The limit keeps the tool free and stops it being used to scan sites in bulk.
